01 — Problem
The problem.
Short-term rental hosts were relying on gut feel and manual ID checks to vet guests. Party bookings, fraud and damage were costly, and verification steps that were too heavy scared away legitimate guests.

What we built.

Designed a Xano backend that ingests bookings from channel managers, stores verification evidence and exposes a clean API to the host dashboard.

Built an AI scoring pipeline that combines ID checks, booking signals and behavioural data into a single, explainable risk score.

Automated the guest journey with workflow automation: verification links, reminders, escalation to hosts and audit logs.

Shipped a monochrome host dashboard with property-level views, flagged bookings and one-click approve / request-more-info actions.
